On 29th March, Alicante City Council, through the Youth, Project Coordination and Employment departments and the Local Development Agency, organised the fourth edition of the Employment and Training Fair. Several hundred young students from eight high schools in the North Zone participated in the event to learn about training opportunities and new opportunities for active job search.
During the day, several activities took place with the aim that anyone interested could have a direct experience of training and employment resources, including contact with companies and entities dedicated to improving employability and the possibilities of finding work. Exhibitor stands provided information and live demonstrations. In addition to workshops and performances on a main stage. This year, as a novelty, there was a recognition and thanks to the companies collaborating with the training programmes with the educational centres of the area, at the proposal of this.
Among the companies recognised is Keyter, which, at the proposal of IES Gran Vía, has been thanked for its involvement and collaboration in the FCT module through internship agreements, as well as its commitment to the employment of students in the company itself.
IES Gran Vía offers a wide range of Vocational Training studies. Specifically, within the professional family of Installation and Maintenance, it covers the three areas of vocational training.
– Basic Vocational Training in Housing Maintenance.
– Intermediate Vocational Training in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Installations
– Intermediate Vocational Training in Heat Production Installations
– Advanced Vocational Training in Maintenance of Thermal and Fluids Installations
