Keyter organised in collaboration with Uponor, leader in underfloor heating, geothermal, multilayer piping, Invisible air conditioning, plumbing and PEX an exclusive Webinar on:
Centralised 2-pipe systems for heating and DHW generation using Aerothermal energy.
According to official sources, 65.8% of residential energy consumption in Spain currently corresponds to heating and domestic hot water systems.
Therefore, improving energy efficiency of generation, looking for units such as aerothermal systems which combine a renewable use of energy and increasing the efficiency of energy distribution will be essential.
Uponor and Keyter are pleased to organise a Webinar in collaboration with our experts Jose Jesús Arboledas, Responsible for Training and Special Projects at Keyter and member of the Ashrae Spain Chapter and Sergio García, Segment Manager Residential Uponor Iberia where real cases will be presented to explain different options available for designing and executing centralised heating and DHW installations.
CASE STUDY, REGULATIONS, JUSTIFICATION
Heat pumps are therefore a highly efficient and environmentally friendly solution for centralised DHW production, as they have a lower carbon footprint than other alternative solutions on the market, such as those using natural gas. In addition, it reduces installation costs and makes them safer by eliminating gas installation. As it is centralised, it takes up less space on the roof and significantly reduces installation and maintenance costs.
Keyter has a range specifically designed for this type of application. ARGIA air-to-water high temperature heat pumps for hot climates with high performance also for medium conditions. With the capacity to supply water at a high temperature of +65oC, being able to accumulate DHW at 60 oC even with outside temperatures of 5 oC. It also has a hot gas heat recovery system for DHW. Keyter ARGIA units are available with plate heat exchanger or multi-tube heat exchanger and have a high seasonal energy efficiency thanks to multi-scroll technology.
